The analysis section is about three season out of date.
The Hampshire Congress section seems to give less and less details/analysis each year.
The "Games" section could be added to abundantly, for example by giving all the games from Open in the Hampshire Congress, and by asking Hampshire area players to submit their league/tournament games.
There could be a section reporting the results of Hampshire players in tournaments, such as the various congresses around the country and the British Championships.
No details are given of the Portmsouth & District Individual Championship, such as who has played who and a round by round crosstable as the tournament progresses. All that is available is a list of previous winners.
The "Newsletter" section was a great idea but it has not been updated for over 4 years! (Last time January 2003). Please can someone start writing and uploading these newsletters again, maybe quarterly or even just twice a year.
Overall it seems like since 2003, almost nothing has been done with the website and only the essential updates are being made; i.e. league results. It would be good for Hampshire chess in general I believe if the website kept ongoing reports on the Southampton and Portsmouth Individual tournaments, gave detailed reports on the Hampshire Congresses, published a newsletter regularly, and regularly accepted and uploaded Hampshire players' games, etc.
The articles section by Gillian Moore is a good idea and it is nice to see someone doing something proactive.

You must bear in mind that the Hampshire chess association website is reliant on information being provided to the webmaster, Graham Stuart.
I know he is a busy person with a full-time job, wife, children, dogs etc so you can't expect him to do all the work. If you want an analysis of the Portsmouth league why won't you do it yourself and supply it to Graham? |

I've just finished doing the analysis for Division 1, 2, and 3 of the Portsmouth League 2006/7. There certainly is a bit of work involved Hopefully you will see it on the Hampshire website soon. |

| Hopefully the division 3 analysis will be uploaded eventually too; I did the analysis around four or five months ago and it is still awaiting uploading, but it is quite a lot of work to convert it into frontpage apparently so it's understandable. After my (hopeful) graduation in the summer I would like to do a similar analysis for this year and maybe some past years as well as the Southampton league perhaps, providing it will be uploaded quickly and not left to sit for many months; perhaps I can help with the formatting and uploading too. |

| I'd like to mention the coverage of the Hampshire Chess Congress on the Hampshire chess website this season was excellent, with all games in the open uploaded onto a pgn viewer and also photos of the tournament and the prize giving. Thankyou to whoever was responsible for putting all the games into pgn and uploaidng them on the website. |

| The division 3 analysis was evenually uploaded a month or so ago. I doubt I will be doing that again since I finished the anaysis in about weekend and it wasn't uploaded fully onto the website for about a year. However I may do some analysis for the upcoming portsmouth website and hampshire players can use this as an alternative source of information about hampshire chess. |
