Whats happening with the website. Has the club purchased a name for a website or can the club. Quite happy to maintain.

Yes I had wondered about this too. Its always worth having a good online presence.

I was just wondering where it was held as I could well have some old information. Is it still the Froddington on Wednesdays? If it is, I could always pop down there for a beer or two.

Kind Regards

JDK

Chess is no longer held at the Froddington. Our venue for the past couple of years is now the RNOC club on Lake Road. Any info on the club would be great.

Thanks bjames for the quick reply. I'm guessing then that http://www.chesscorner.com/ukclubs/intclub.htm could well be at least a couple of years out of date Very Happy

In actual fact the RNOC is far better placement for a club. If you guys ever fancy a new member then give me a shout. I'm more of a casual player mind you so not a league player a such.

Btw, if your web service provider is causing you problems. The one I have found most luck with at the moment is http://www.streamline.net/

You can design a website without any web understanding altogether. Which suits me down to the ground no end Very Happy The end result for me was www.jdkchess.co.uk

The hardest part for me was getting the animated boards to work...and remembering which font I did each page for.

I'm sorry if nobody replied to you; we're always looking for new members regardless of experience or strength etc.  The more the merrier, so please come along. Very Happy
