DisappointingIts disappointing when a club of 15-20 members can only field a team of 2 for the rapid play match. Can someone make sure the organisation of this is better as it embarrased me to go along with this number. As it is - it made sure Portsmouth could not win the match and we ended up losing when we were only playing a junior club. One other person should have meant the match was won. As it was 2 of their team went home without playing a match which is also bad for them.

I don't think many people are interested in playing rapid play. One reason I personally have for this is that it's too fast to write down the moves and hence you can't analyse the game at home afterwards. Also it doesn't give enough time to take in the position and formulate plans properly etc.
